Mum of six, Kate Ball initially started Mini First Aid in 2014 from her kitchen table in Leeds, offering high quality baby & child first aid classes to parents and carers. Demand grew and Kate saw the potential for growth, so she started franchising the business in 2015. In 2021, BBC Dragon’s Den star Sara Davies, also saw the huge potential in Mini First Aid and she came on board as an investor and adviser. Mini First Aid is now a multi-award-winning organisation and has almost 70 franchises nationwide.
I’m Holly and I’m the owner of Mini First Aid Hertfordshire covering Herts and East Beds. My background is in training and law enforcement and I’ve had to use Emergency First Aid on numerous occasions. As well as a passion for teaching First Aid, I am a Yoga and Self Defence Instructor and earned my black belt when I was 18. Having had first hand experience, I believe that knowledge and awareness are key in remaining calm when dealing with any stressful situation, particularly when it comes to loved ones and a medical issue. As a recent first time Mum, I’m keen to help staff, parents and children learn these vital life skills giving confidence and peace of mind.
Mini First Aid is expanding as our demand for classes continues to grow.
Mini First Aid are looking for dynamic confident individuals who would like to work with all ages and feel passionately about teaching first aid.
